Still a Lap-kitty

Still love my morning coffee lap time!

Sorry haven’t been here- but here’s an UPDATE!! 😸

WOW!! Sorry folks been a SUPER long time. But since I follow a feline urinary tract disease page and have responded to some whose kitties have undergone a PU recently, I wanted to be sure to update as I can’t believe my page is still here!

So, I’m 16 1/2 now. Relatively healthy. Since my PU 13 years ago I never has any bladder or urinary issues.

I however, did see some increase in my kidney levels, never too high, and also started to show some discoloration in my eye a few years ago; so mom started to cook for me a special diet.(Dr. Richard Pitcairn’s Natural Health for Dogs and Cats book) I love my new home made food and also love my little Tiki Cat After Dark topper as a change up every few weeks. I get boiled chicken breasts cut up into little pieces and also sweet potato - I like sweet potato pieces.

I have arthritis now and am on my second shot of Solensia. So far so good. Mom does give me a 1/4 tab of 5mg prednisolone the day before, day of and day after (just like she get steroids before her MS infusion) in order to ward off an allergic reaction and so far 🤞 it

seems to be really helping me. I am using my litter box regular (no more holding pee cause it hurts to stoop) and my appetite is back! I am happy.

I did though have a minor stroke in April 23’ during a dental procedure and I turn in a circle when progressing forward if I get distracted on my way to a place. It’s ok, I have mastered this and it does not cause me any issues. I motor along!

My mom does everything she can to take care of me and keep me healthy, safe and happy!

My Birthday!!

I turned 8! On July 1st! Well, that's when my 'mom' says my birthday is anyway. I'm still creeping it and stealing food and generally being a crazy nut. My health is well-but I need to get my teeth cleaned. I hate that.

My bro is getting old and so's my dog. She had a seizure and I was freaked out! She's ok now. Can't live forever. I know 'mom' will do the best she can.
